Library Partners
Reading Rx works with each clinic site to obtain a "library partner." This partnership between a clinic and a library emphasizes the community collaborative approach of the Reading Rx program. After families complete a gold card survey at the clinic for a child (and receive a free book), they also receive a card to take to their local library to receive another free children's book. The libraries encourage all family members to sign up for library cards (and can use the card from the clinic as proof of residence, if necessary).
